Turtle Soup was the result of Paul Wong’s artist residency at Casa Melina in March of 2023 . Turtle Soup was Casa Melina’s first private dinner and public event. The event was an immersive experience of food, light and sound for conservation of Baja Oceans. Visual art throughout the space by Paul Wong. Music and sound installations by Damian Romero. Architecture by Yashar Yektajo. Food by Chris Domit, Emme Prieto, Pablo Diaz, Paula Pedro. Admission was by donation and all profits from this event went to Grupo Tortuguero de Todos Santos A.C.
