In 2000, the Vancouver Art Gallery acquired a number fo seminal artworks by Paul Wong for the permanent collection. The six pieces presented in this exhibition offer a broad view of Wong’s practice, including several raw and intense works of the 1970s as well as the more elaborate videos form the 1980s and 90s. This is the first opportunity for Vancouver audiences to see a comprehensive body of work by this significant artist.
