Pride in Chinatown Garden Party
Alternative Pride Festival

Saturday, July 31st, 2021 4:30PM – 9:00PM
578 Carrall St,
Vancouver, BC

We would like to respectfully acknowledge that Chinatown is situated on the unceded territory of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.

We missed you all in 2020 and are thrilled to invite you to once again celebrate Pride in the heart of historic Chinatown. The Garden Party will spread out using the entire square block of parks, gardens and outdoor courtyards.

We are styling this event as a late-afternoon early evening “tea dance” with an ambience of music, dance, bar and performances, new tech vibes, and visual art installations. This is an inclusive event that celebrates Pan-Asian queer, energy, creativity and visibility . Listen to music, dance and gather in the spacious central courtyard or go into park trails and walk amongst the giant black bamboo groves and waterways or enter into the spectacular Classical Chinese gardens of ancient rock formations and heritage pavilions based on architectural designs from 400 years ago.
